Salutations to Varuna, lord of the waters and cosmic order

A mantra invoking Varuna, the ancient Vedic god of water, the oceans, and cosmic order (Ṛta). One of the oldest deities in the Hindu pantheon, Varuna is the guardian of moral law and the keeper of oaths. He rides a Makara (sea creature) and holds a noose (Pasha).
