Mahamrityunjaya Mantra
Significance & Meaning
We worship the three-eyed one (Shiva), who is fragrant and nourishes all beings. As the cucumber is freed from its bondage to the vine, may we be liberated from death, not from immortality.
The "Great Death-Conquering Mantra" dedicated to Lord Shiva as Tryambaka (three-eyed one). One of the most powerful Vedic mantras from the Rigveda. Chanted for healing, longevity, protection from untimely death, and liberation.
