The Ekajati Mantra invokes Ekajati (Tröma Nagmo), one of the most powerful and wrathful protectresses in the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism.

- Mama - "Mine" (claiming protection)
- Hum - Seed syllable of mind/protection

The Single One
Ekajati's name means "Single Braid of Hair." She is depicted with singular features:
- One eye - Non-dual wisdom seeing all
- One fang - Single taste of reality
- One breast - Non-dual motherhood
- One braid - Unified nature of phenomena
These "single" attributes symbolize the unity beyond all duality that is the essence of Dzogchen.
